I can’t imagine where things could go next.Ī few companies have tried to differentiate themselves from the mainstream services by offering higher quality music streams. In my opinion, we’ve reached the ultimate on-demand solution for music consumption. With the launch of on-demand music streaming services by Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Google, and others, the idea of owning physical media is considered completely unnecessary.Ĭustomers can have access to 50 million+ tracks for as little as $10 a month, and family plans are even a better value. Who needs physical media these days? We have streaming services now…The ultimate music listening solution in this on-demand world. Remember Napster and CD burners? All those disks went into the trash years ago. There is just a fraction of what we used to store in there. Who knew?Īnyway, we needed a place to store our CD collection and paid a skilled cabinet maker to build us nice storage drawers inside wooden built-in units. Listen on the go.īRIO by OraStream is a personal music platform for music lovers to stream their favorite tracks in master studio quality.Remember when most people got rid of their vinyl records and started buying CDs. BRIO by OraStream | Unleash the true nature of your music. OraStream has paid subscription offers for users who want to get more cloud storage and for users who want to stream content (like companies that run internet radios). In addition, you get, for free, 25 GB of cloud storage for your music to listen to it with your phone. This player is offered completely for free on the site of OraStream. It plays with a DAC and with a network system. The player seems very simple, but has all the features that an aufiophile player needs, including a decent library management. 32 Bit tracks are played as 16 Bit tracks. The player sounds good, but plays PCM tracks that are up to 24-192. This audiophile player was supported by Neil Young. The third player that I can suggest to you is BRIO by OraStream. But if you want to buy it, I’ll suggest you to do it on the site of his developer where it is sold for some $30 only. The full version of TuneBrowser, without this restriction, costs some $40 on the Microsoft store. Its only restriction is that the library cannot exceed 500 tracks. You can get a free fully-featured version of this player from the Microsoft Store that you can keep forever. The only true audiophile music player with Hi-Res audio rendering and DSP engine Microsoft Store Buy Neutron Music Player - Microsoft Store It’s a rock solid player that never crushes on my Dell.Īnd it costs nothing on Microsoft Store, only $8! There’s even a fully featured trial version for a week. It has a Russian UI, made in an atomic bunker, but its sound is like the voice of God. This player is the ugliest application I’ve ever seen. It’s very little known in the audiophile community. The player is called Neutron Music Player. It can be used with a DAC and with a network solution. I use it both with my Dell and my iPhone, and I’m very happy with it. The Application exists for Windows, iPhone and Android. It also has many DSP features (that I don’t use). It plays even exotic formats that no player wants to read. It plays all the formats, including DSF-WV (that Audirvana does not play) and iSO SATA and CUE split tracks (that Roon does not support). It’s a Russian audiophile player, and it does all what AS and Roon do, and much, much more, except streaming with Tidal and Qobuz. IMO, its sound is superior to Audirvana, Roon & JRiver. The first player has a great sound quality. They may interest you, if you don’t listen to Tidal or Qobuz. For Windows 10 I have three players to recommend you.
